Broward County Main Library

It is a rare and privileged honor when a contemporary architect is charged with the restoration of not only a historically significant architectural gem but its holistic relationship with neighboring buildings, parks, and preeminent urban environment. Such is the commission of SRS to lead development—inclusive of all stakeholders—of the master plan and realization for the Broward County Main Library, to preserve, yet modernize this landmark building designed by the celebrated architect Marcel Breuer in 1984.
